Sekitar 6 tahun yang lalu, ayah Yoga, Abdulloh meninggal saat bekerja menjadi kuli bangunan di Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur. Sang ayah meninggal setelah ditabrak mobil dalam perantauannya mencari nafkah.
Dua bulan setelah kepergian ayahnya, giliran sang ibu Ria Candrawati (34) meninggalkan Yoga. Saat itu Ria hanya pamit bekerja di tempat yang jauh bersama adik kandungnya, Sunanik.
Namun sejak saat itu Ria tak diketahui keberadaannya. Jangankan mengirim uang, ibu tiga anak ini tak pernah berkirim kabar ke keluarganya di Kota Santri.
"Ibu tak pernah pulang, tak pernah kasih kabar. Katanya kerja di Merauke," kata Yoga saat ditemui detikcom di rumahnya, Kamis (12/4/2018).
Praktis, Yoga diasuh oleh Samunti. Nenek buyut Yoga ini mempunyai 5 anak. Salah satunya adalah Sarlan yang menikah dengan Sadiyah (almarhum), kakek nenek Yoga. Yoga sendiri sebenarnya memiliki dua saudara kandung: Dina Fitria (14) dan Ela Nur Afifah (8).
Keluarga Yoga memang tinggal di rumah Samunti sejak Yoga belum genap berusia satu tahun. Kini kedua saudara kandung Yoga diasuh oleh kakeknya, Sarlan yang menikah lagi dengan seorang warga Dusun Murong, Desa Mayangan. Sementara Yoga bertahan dalam asuhan Samunti.
Sehari-hari, Samuntilah yang dengan penuh kasih sayang merawat Yoga. Namun untuk makan, Sumanti tak lagi bisa mencari nafkah. Ia hanya mengandalkan kiriman uang dari anak-anaknya serta bantuan tetangga sekitar.
