Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) mengatakan untuk di DKI Jakarta, pemerintah mengalokasikan anggaran untuk paket sembako sebesar Rp 2,2 Triliun kepada 2,6 juta atau 1,2 juta kepala keluarga selama tiga bulan.
"Bantuan khusus bahan pokok sembako dari pemerintah pusat untuk masyarakat di DKI Jakarta dialokasikan untuk 2,6 juta jiwa atau 1,2 juta KK dengan besaran Rp 600 ribu per bulan, selama 3 bulan. Anggaran yang dialokasikan Rp 2,2 Triliun," ujar Jokowi.
Kemudian untuk wilayah Bodetabek (Bogor, Depok, Tangerang dan Bekasi), pemerintah mengalokasikan anggaran sebesar Rp 1 Triliun untuk paket sembako senilai Rp 600 ribu selama tiga bulan kepada 1,6 Juta jiwa.

"Sekali lagi pemerintah menganjurkan untuk tidak mudik. Dan tadi sudah saya sampaikan bahwa penyaluran bansos khususnya di Jabodetabek kita berikan agar warga mengurungkan niatnya untuk mudik."
